Setting

The flowers become fruits.

The fertilized flowers are transformed into fruits or berries: this is called setting. Sometimes, some grapes remain in their primary state – hard, small and green – while others develop and ripen normally. This phenomenon is known as “millerandage” and is often due to unfavourable weather conditions during the flowering/setting period.
